Wild & holy, yoga tips of the week

Wild & holy + yoga tip of the week

To my dearest student, beloved friend, & fellow human… 🌊 🕯️

YOU ARE WELCOME HERE

Welcome to this space in which I will share my heart felt thoughts, yoga tips of this week + anything else I have been exploring.

Take few deep breaths, make a cup of tea or whateva’ you like and dive in with me. 😄

What is alive inside you this week? 🌹

I invite you to get curious… even fascinated.

What is on your heart? ❤️

The more you offer curiosity inside, the more you open up a channel to your inner world which is where the deepest source of your power resides.

As you practice leaning IN to your inner wilderness, you might discover ancient pain, miraculous pleasure and experience untamed waters wrapped in mystery.

The more you explore inside, the more your own inner wisdom will reveal itself to you.

"I learned that I could be both wild and holy" -Ana Forrest

Food for thought 🍇

How is it that we appreciate the fullness that is of ocean, mountain and Earthy landscapes yet, when it comes to our own inner worlds we only give ourselves permission to see and appreciate the pretty parts, the pleasant parts, the less “wild” parts.

What if your joy is just as wondrous as your grief? A sunny day just as magnificent as a wicked thunderstorm?

Yoga + inner practice can be a beautiful way to practice this inward looking and exploration.

A way for you to not just blindly believe what I have to say 😉 but to see this Truth on an experiential level.

So what do you think? Can we be both wild and holy?

😚

Talk about wondrous, wild & holy.

Did you catch the eclipse? 🤩

After a series of emotional outbursts, inner healing seshs & way too many cups of cacao, I laid back on the dewy grass with my obsidian stone and took in the majesty that was this phenomenon.

My partner & I decided to get out of the city for the eclipse and adventure out to a lil’ hippie festival called “Celest-Fest”. It was small, wholesome and had a real communal vibe. I wash touched by the warm smiles, the joyous happy campers and the abundance of live music.

I was eager to experience the medicine of this eclipse. For me, the medicine was cleansing, purifying, revealing and unraveling. I found myself purifying and healing old heart wounds I thought I had healed long before. I cried under the trees, I sat in silence, I received a shamanic healing, I danced under the stars & I adventured into waterfalls and bathed naked in the spring fed lake.

Before you unsubscribe for fear of me being “too hippy” for your taste, let me reassure you.

The more you get to know me, the weirder and more hippy I get.

Minus the drugs. No judgement fellow explorers, but not my style. 🍄

I came through the portal of the eclipse feeling deeply nourished, raw, dirty (did i mention it was a stormy + muddy last day?) & profoundly curious about the natural phenomenon that had occurred.

What if you honored + explored your inner world like this? 🗝️

You can dive into that exploration right away with this short meditation I created for you.

Explore your heart ♥️

and now, what you’ve all been waiting for…yoga tip of the week 🪄

Give yourself permission to do less.

What???????? You mean I need to DO LESS??????

Yes. Do less in each pose. I do not mean to stop doing the pose, to stop breathing or to not give ANY effort. However, many of us are unwiring a pattern of struggling in the pose to the point where we are causing emotional or physical injury to ourselves. And more-so some of us have a worthiness piece married with how HARD we work + accomplish in each pose 🤢

Now, I’m not saying effort and challenge isn’t good for us. It is GREAT, but only if it’s within your edges. If you’re blasting through your capacities you’re not serving your body, you’re hurting it.

So if that’s you, I see you. I understand. It’s OK & I still love you.

Next time you’re on the mat clinching your butthole and tightening so much that you cannot f*cking breathe or see straight. STOP, pause and ask yourself, what part of me can let go here? Where can i soften? Where can i do a little…less?

Even 10% softening is brilliant. Celebrate it!

Try this on the mat & watch it ripple into your life off the mat. 🪄

Thanks for sticking along this far.

Sending you all the goodness that exists. ♾️

See you soon 🌊

Until then, stay alive inside 🌷
